Do you know WHY The Kyoto Accord and the climate negotiations in Durban South Africa won’t make a difference in Climate Change and Global Warming? Because we are expecting lame-ass governments (like we have in Canada) to make a difference – and they simply will not.
Politicians and Corporations Will Fail In Climate Control
If we wait for vote-seeking Politicians to do it, we are all doomed.
If we wait for profit-seeking Corporations to do it, we are all doomed.
Governments and Corporations do not love. They do not live and breath air. They do not have children and grandchildren – and they have no sense of wonder and awe at the size of The Milky Way and the astounding number of other galaxies in our Universe.
Governments and Corporations WILL NOT solve this problem.
Instead, like Canada, they avoid it.
People must solve this problem – and when that begins, only then will Governments contribute in a meaningful way – (and only because it will mean more votes).
It’s My Fault – And It’s Your Fault.
We cannot hold the Government responsible for correcting this situation. We cannot wait for the Oil Companies to step forward – because this problem is not their fault.
We – the individuals in the developed countries – are responsible for creating this mess, simply because electricity and gasoline are so damn convenient. We love all manner of convenience, from fresh vegetables trucked across the country, to turning on a light, to heating and cooling our homes.
We are the ones purchasing the energy – so we should be the ones who clean up after using it.
Every Community Needs A Local Chapter of iHelpEarth
What is a local chapter of iHelpEarth?
Let us imagine something like this:
In small-town everywhere, small groups of contributors sign an agreement to take out a loan to pay for one ‘Artificial Tree‘, and make payments over a five year period. The ‘Tree’ for each local chapter is managed by the iHelpEarth Foundation, and constructed on a carbon collection site where the carbon dioxide can be directly stored within the Earth’s crust, without the need for transportation.

This project is in the ‘Big Bang’ stage of development – a huge bright shiny expanding idea with no structure. Each person who follows and everyone who leaves a comment is providing iHelpEarth with particles that matter. These particles (you, your thoughts and your encouragement) will gather together and form the stuff of this organization that will give us gravity, momentum and traction to make a difference in the future of mankind, and every living thing on Earth.
